It has 50 playable characters, however pre-timeskip characters are not available. Get the second one if you want, but the first is really all you need. If I were to play them again now, I'd go with Kizuna Drive. Kizuna Drive and Akatsuki Rising both suck. It also features a team techniques, like Naruto and Jiraiya perform Rasengan at the same time.
I gave Frieza Gohan's red 4 star Dragon Ball hat for example. You can even edit any characters appearance. It also has a Sidescrolling Platformer mode I believe. It can be a very challenging game. Im just gonna get it.
I loved Dragon ball Z tenkaichi tag team so I thought I'd try the Naruto games. Dragon ball advanced adventure is 1 of my favorite Platformers ever. Ultimate ninja impact looks cool but ultimately it just seems like a watered down version of Warriors Orochi 2. It includes a story arc designed by Cyberconnect2 that is unique to this game, as well as a regular one that follows the Naruto Shippūden storyline and one that follows Sasuke's story and also was game-exclusive arc called Filler Story Mode, a continuation of previous arc. And again, Heroes 3 is horrible. They all sound cool but which should I get first? The player will be playing a 2d side scroler as an adventure with side missions and special conditions.
What they did was try to make the game play like the Ultimate Ninja Storm games, but in a 2d plane instead of 3D. Only turn off was the limited character roster. I spent over 250 hours on Tenkaichi Tag. It also has a Sidescrolling Platformer mode I believe. I even spent over a hundred hours on it. Lots of better fighting game out there for me.
For the smoothest, and most fun fighting experience stick to the first one. I don't know if I like it more then Tenkaichi tag team though. Also See:- Gameplay The game features 4-player local multi-player battles, as well as characters from the Itachi Pursuit Mission, including Sasuke and the members of Hebi. No one seems to have replied, no fans out there?. Heroes 2: Phantom Fortress would be my favorite but Naruto seems glitched in that game. Played the Hitman Reborn, but didnt enjoyed it. I don't know if I like it more then Tenkaichi tag team though.
For n64, play Conker if you haven't. A lot of fans cosnider it a better fighting game than even Budokai 3. The addition of new characters don't really do much. Its Jap only but I am trying to learn Japanese so. Only turn off was the limited character roster. Ultimate Ninja Impact is a good follow up to Akatsuki Rising though.
The new Naruto game in the series is a great addition revealing the shippuuden arc to American viewers with a long story and a large character roster. Ultimate Ninja Impact kinda plays like the Storm games, but it's more of a Dynasty Warriors type game. My favorite in the Heroes series is the very first one. It's far superior to any Dragon Ball fighting game of that generation on any console. I enjoyed Akatsuki Rising the most out of those three, but I liked Kizuna's difficulty more. Ultimate ninja impact looks cool but ultimately it just seems like a watered down version of Warriors Orochi 2. It's worst than T3 and T2, but it's still a fun game if you're a Tenkaichi fan and can't play the other versions for whatever reason.
